Vanmahotsav
July 9, 2018, saw a day-long plantation drive that highlighted the significance of planting trees and preserving our green cover in order to protect the environment, thus ensuring an ecological harmony. This program brought together student leaders who decided to lead from the front and show their proactivity to become environmentally and socially conscious citizens. Student volunteers distributed about 500 saplings at various Bachupally-Miyapur junctions. They reiterated the eternal message of "Vriksho rakshathi rakshithaha" through an engaging and thought-provoking ‘nukkad natak.’ The Vana Mahotsav event reminded all of us, students and teachers alike, that in order to emerge as a cleaner, greener and stronger nation, we must initiate a process of progressive thinking and must embrace a growth mindset that matches our vision of a dynamic, vibrant, and greener India.
