KENNEDY HIGH the global school, Bachupally, Hyderabad,Telangana, celebrated the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on 11 November 2019 in the school premises. Students were enthusiastic to learn about the life and teachings of this illustrious leader, who was the first Education Minister of Independent India. Student – led Orientation programs, rallies, colouring and poster making events and group discussion made the day a valuable learning experience. Students participated in group discussions about the role of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Education Ministry, and the goals of these organizations. Students initiated a peer mentoring program by conducting a student-led workshop. The event was hugely interactive and gave the participants an opportunity to hone their public speaking skills.A rally was organized in the school premises with ideas, thoughts, and quotes from Maulana Azad’s life. The out-of- classroom activity was an excellent platform for effective team work and organizational skills.
