The CCMB Young Innovator’s program was held during the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January 2019. Out of 131 participants from various regions and schools, Harshith Jay Surya Sai Ganji of class VIII-I along with 23 other students got selected for this program. He received first-hand experience with scientist Dr. Harsha Gupta, an Indian Seismologist, who was his guide and judge. He performed many activities including the DNA isolation from blood and bacteria culture, preparation of permanent slides, making of automatic street lamps, research on bio informatics etc. He also visited the zebra fish facility, instrumentation facility, AIC (Atal Incubation Centre) etc. The interactive sessions with various scientists were very inspirational.
