Bathukamma festival is one of the most significant festivals in the Telangana Region. The 9-day festivities are highlighted by grandiose floral decorations and rhythmic beats of regional songs and music. It is a reflection of the diverse cultures and rituals of India and affirms the eternal concept of righteousness and faith. Students were able to encapsulate the cultural, religious, and mythological aspects of the Bathukamma festival through an invigorating and colorful celebration on 8 October 2018. It was a delight to watch the ensemble of brightly dressed students in their traditional dresses, grooving to the beats of their regional music, embellished with folklores and stories. It was a true celebration of the cultural and regional history of the Telangana Region.
