Inter-House English Debate Competition

An Inter-House English Debate Competition was held for the students of Grades 3-12 at Cambridge Wing on 26thSeptember 2018.

Each House team was presented by 4 participants- where they have one introductory speaker, two propositional speakers and one concluding speaker. One team spoke in favor of the motion, while the other opposed it. The students spoke eloquently on the topics and impressed with their thoughtful insights.

The highlight of the event was the rebuttal round, where each participant questioned a view presented by the opposing team. Each team defended their argument vigorously which displayed the speed and depth of their thoughts.

The judges had difficult time to choose the winners and they applauded the students for their great oratory skills. The competition was an enthralling experience for the speakers as well as the audience.
