73rd Republic Day Celebration – 2022
KENNEDY HIGH the global school had a colourful 73rd Republic Day celebration on Wednesday, 26 January 2022. Taking into consideration the rising cases of Omicron and the safety of everyone in view the school held a very short celebration in the school premises with a small gathering of select few.
The celebration started with guard of honor by the school security. The National flag was unfurled by the Chief guest and Managing Director Sri. M. Subba Reddy accompanied by Principal, Smt. Rajyalaxmi Bhat.
To mark this auspicious event of Republic Day Celebration, students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school participated in special cultural programs on a virtual platform with spectacular performances.
Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat greeted the students and read out Chairman Shri. S. Jamala Reddy’s inspiring speech wherein he emphasized the need to be aware of the duties and responsibilities which accompany the rights of citizens. He made a personal appeal to the students to follow COVID-19 safety protocols to keep themselves and everyone safe. Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat also added that everyone needs to be conscious of social issues like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, violence and crime and try to find solutions to these problems. She reiterated that above all, one needs to focus on what he/she are doing for the country. These inspiring speeches touched the hearts of the students.
A Video on National War memorial was also shown to the students and this ignited a feeling of pride for the nation and touched a deep emotional chord.
The cultural program was replete with PPT Presentations, Speeches, Dance Performances, Instrumental music, quizzes and songs, once again making this an occasion to remember.
