Kennedy High the global school celebrated India’s 72nd Republic Day on 26th January 2021 like every year, but with a difference. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration in the school campus was a low-key affair with only a few teachers and staff present, but the essence remained the same as the students and remaining teachers celebrated this day on a virtual platform with pride, enthusiasm and great patriotic fervor.
The on campus celebration started with the Chairman, Sri. S. Jamala Reddy hoisting the National Flag, followed by everyone saluting the National flag and singing the National Anthem. Later, he applauded the efforts of the teachers in continuing to impart quality education and reiterated the importance of utilizing the available resources to grow in stature both as an institution and as responsible citizens. Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat also appreciated the support of all the stakeholders in these difficult times and made everyone present feel proud of their achievements.
Later, the students and teachers of Kennedy High the global school displayed their patriotism and love for their motherland by participating whole heartedly in the virtual celebration. Students of class IV to XII and Grade 4 to A level sang patriotic songs making hearts swell with pride and emotion, delivered fiery speeches, played instrumental music which made every one sway and danced their hearts out.
