The SCERT (State Council Education and Research Training), Telangana conducted a two day workshop programme on Drug abuse prevention for adolescents and school teenagers) which included DIET faculty of different districts of Telangana and some private schools of Hyderabad attended the workshop. The basic objective of this workshop was to provide inputs on various issues relating to drug abuse and available approaches interventions to deal with menace of abuse in view of the social cultural similarities of the region. The school participated in this workshop and shared reasons, causes of drug abuse among screening tools and awareness programs by school.
